Update

Thank you for the luck and well wishes! Surgery was a success, and I'm out of the hospital and resting at home now Other than the post-op soreness, nausea and minor headache from the anesthesia, and sore throat, I'm feeling pretty good

:EDIT: It was surgery for 2 herniated discs in my lower back, one of which was pinning my sciatic nerve (controls my leg)

Hai guys,

Just letting you know I won't be as active on here as much for the next little while. I am having surgery done on my spine later today... in approx 10.5 hours

I'm putting my WIPs on hold (for obvious reasons lol) and won't be able to reply very quickly to notes and comments, but I will do my best!

Well, we're only 13 days into January and life's already kicked me in the proverbial she-balls. Just found out today that I'm being laid off in less than 1 week

Again. I was laid off by this company in 2010, offered a new, higher position in early 2011 (basically running my own store), and now they're letting me go again! Well,  me and every other employee in the district.

And on top of that, I'm having spinal surgery in less than 2 weeks! Well, bad things always come in 3's, so I'm kinda waiting for the next thing to pop up.
Hopefully the 3rd thing is this major art block, cuz it's totally killing me, but I think I'm almost over it. Will probably open commissions and/or requests for some fresh new ideas.

On the bright side, at least I'll have more time for drawing while I'm in between jobs right???

These are coming in February, and will only be available in Sketch and Various Ink refills. There is a new Blank Hand Colour sheet, but it does not include the new colours yet.

I'm most excited about Jasper, Bluebell, Ash Lavender, and Eggplant. However, I am not so excited to have to redo my colour sheet. I usually keep two- 1 for full colour samples, and another in just grey as a quick reference for what I do and do not have. However since I can now do that online on the Copic Color website, I'm not sure if I'll redo that one...

I got 4 new blues as a stocking stuffer- B04, B06, B26, and B28 Did Santa leave you guys any markers this Christmas?? If yes, post which ones!

A. In this case, a free art request/commission prize. But I've seen points, premium memberships, bookmarks, stickers, tons of things!

If you happen to view my page and it states the pageview that I have written in my tageline, take a picture of it *HINT*Press Prnt Scrn on your keyboard, then paste to any art program, even MS Paint works! and send me a note with the unaltered screenshot. You can also comment here with a link to the screenshot if you uploaded it.
